Bridging Internet From Laptop to Xbox 360
This tutorial will explain how to bridge internet from your wireless adapter on your wireless to your Xbox 360 via ethernet. it can come in handy if you don’t want to pay for a wireless adapter for the xbox 360.
First, go to the Network and Sharing Center. On the left click Change Adapter Settings. Right click on your wireless adapter and go to Properties. Go to the Sharing tab and check the box to allow Internet Connection Sharing. Then just run a cable from the xbox 360 to the laptop’s ethernet port and you’re done.
If you use Windows XP, go to the Start menu, point to Connect to, and click View All Connections. Right click the Ethernet adapter and go to properties. Go to the sharing tab and check the box to allow it. It will ask you which adapter to get the internet from, choose your wireless adapter. Note: I haven’t used XP in a while and it might be that you need to go to the properties of the wireless adapter and go to the sharing tab there and select to share to the Ethernet adapter. If someone uses this please comment to tell me which one it is.
