Today I was asked by someone how they could fix distorted images on their monitor. They had an un-aligned image when they booted. They auto adjusted the display until it was fine. When they started to play Counter Strike they noticed distortion on the text. I told them to auto adjust again and it worked.

Remember, when you switch resolutions (in this case a high resolution from Windows to a lower resolution for the game) you will get better image quality if you auto adjust your monitor again. This should not be a problem if you use DVI instead of VGA. I guess there isn’t really a permanent fix because you can’t have focus on all resolutions, but it is an easy fix.
